For many, the month of November kicks off the holiday season. For Chorus Polaris, it also kicks off a season of giving and thanks. We are eternally grateful to our singers, our Artistic Director, our Board of Directors, and our audiences for the amazing talent and support they all provide us. You're invited to join them!
We’re participating in this year’s Give to the Max Day (find our page here) and would greatly appreciate your support. It is needed and appreciated!
Additionally, Chorus Polaris wants to extend a special heartfelt thanks to the musicians and organizations with whom we have partnered over the years. As an example, this season we collaborate with:
- The Minnesota State Band, premiering two new works this month
-
Mississippi Valley Orchestra and Westwood Lutheran Church’s A Capella choir for two performances of W. A. Mozart’s “Requiem”
-
StreetSongMN, an exhilarating choir comprised of people 'experienced in homelessness' (i.e. persons currently or formerly homeless and those who care about them). For this concert, we’ll be joined by a special guest, Ken Medema.
Make plans now to hear us this season. We think you’ll be glad you did!
Have a fabulous Thanksgiving!
