How to support Chorus Polaris

With music spanning more than a thousand years - from the Medieval period, to jazz, to choral masterworks complete with orchestra, Chorus Polaris moves, inspires, and delights audiences at every concert throughout the seasons.

Your support means the world to us, to our audiences, and to the communities we serve!

There are three primary ways to support Chorus Polaris:

• volunteer to help

• donate money or services

• attend our concerts

We need volunteer support throughout the year and especially on performance days.

 

Typical concert support duties involve staffing a ticket table, ushering & handing out programs, or doing audience head count. Depending on the concert venue and program, other duties may need to be fulfilled.

 

Throughout the year, we are always looking for people who can assist with things such as graphic design, marketing and promotion help, etc.

 

Additionally, we occasionally need a team of healthy individuals who can help move choral risers to the concert site and back.

Donate

 

We need your financial and in-kind support each season. This support helps us meet obligations to our paid staff, rental of rehearsal space and performance venues, compensate performers who collaborate with us, and strengthens our ability to commission new music.

 

We welcome in-kind donations of services that help us fulfill our mission to connect communities through collaboration and educational outreach with a broad range of musical styles (For inquiries regarding in-kind donations, send an email to: execdir@choruspolaris.org.).

Attend our concerts

 

You help us meet our mission when you attend our performances. Concerts are not merely opportunities for our choristers to sing -- they are also enlightening, engaging, and frequently, collaborative affairs with others from the community. Past collaborations have been with school choirs, other community choral and instrumental ensembles, composers, and conductors.
