Guest Performer: Thomasina Petrus

We are thrilled to welcome the incomparable Thomasina Petrus to the stage. A celebrated 35-year veteran of the arts and a premier Twin Cities jazz vocalist, Thomasina is a creative force known for her "unforgettable" theatrical presence and deep roots in the legacy of Black women’s voices.

Why you can’t miss her:

Jazz Royalty: Famed for her breathtaking portrayals of icons like Billie Holiday (Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill) and Etta James.

Theatrical Powerhouse: A long-standing AEA actor and creator of acclaimed original works, including The Best of Billie & Me and the holiday favorite Hot Chocolate.

A "Sweet" Surprise: Beyond the stage, Thomasina is the founder of the famous Thomasina’s Cashew Brittle. (Available at fine local shops, Amazon, and many of the venues where she performs. Keep an eye out — this delectable treat might just make an appearance!)

"Thomasina doesn't just sing a song; she creates an experience that stays with you long after the final note."
