Chorus Polaris Season Auditions
We’re looking forward to an exciting season of singing and community. We expect to number about 60 singers this year, joining voices to learn some exciting music and to be a part of a group of committed amateur and professional musicians.
To schedule your audition:
Complete the audition registration form below. You can also access the form here.
You will receive a copy of your answers via email. Choose your preferred audition date and time. If none of those times work for you, please get in touch with Artistic Director Bill Mathis directly to find another time (director@choruspolaris.org).
Once you schedule your audition, you'll receive a confirmation email with the audition address .
Our auditions are only 20 minutes long and aim to accomplish several things:
- catch up personally, or become acquainted if you’re new
- hear how your range is this year and how your contribution might be most effective
- hear how you work with a song (vocal timbre, pitch, expression, etc.)
- make sure we’re a good match
You may bring your own piece to sing if you wish, which you will sing without accompaniment. We only need to hear about a minute or so of it.
